Mod list: -Trimmed bars down 3/4" on each side -Rigged BB spacers (one is a thick piece of like copper wire stuff I found, some are plumbing parts) -Dual upper and lower cables for the back brake-they cross behind the seat tube for better pull, AND have ... more »

We get heatwaves and stupid-cold winters here in MN. There are two sweet spots-mid spring (May) and Sept into October usually, that are PRIME for riding. Bugs get bad May-Sept, then die off when it starts to cool off. As to being hurt, I would prefer ... more »

Reply to Anyone seen a bike like this before?? 4/6/2020 9:02 AM

It is likely made for a department store or some other type of place like that. Kind of a "we make it you call it whatever" brand. A buddy of mine had a Landis that was EXACTLY the same as yours-just red and white.

I had manny bars (pull up bars for you youngins) DIALED back in the day-like full blast down the road fire out a manny double bar like nothing. I toyed with hopping them off a curb a bit but nothing came from it at that time, then fired out on a flyout/dirt ... more »

Undo the bolt into the crank arm, pedal it forward to the next Crank arm bolt hole, and reinstall crank arm bolt. Still going. It's V1 of The Grey sprocket from Steve's thing.

I had the same thing happen with my current one, I rotated it. Once another one cracks, I will replace it.

Any local shop to you should be able to help you out-failing that you might be able to get a new bottom bracket (I assume yours is a square taper crankset) you COULD go to a BMX setup fro cranks.

The setup at my local free park back in the day was similar to what you want to make, a 4 foot mini with a spine on one end, but they did 16 feet wide and two widths on the spine end-one was two feet so it was a "spox" (spine/box) and the other was about ... more »

This is why you build your own stuff, at least a box/rail and or a kicker. I've got three rails-two are tall enough for a BMX to grind. I plan to dig em out and set up a line in front of my house. I want to grab some lumber and toss together a couple ... more »

Well if it is dirt, just build it into a weird trails/park setup! I saw sand for one of them.
