Looks like a pro racer frame, I had one back in the 80s. Also had the sr stem, the seat clamps on these were an odd size, hense you have 2 clamps I think... Never tightened down right.... Dupe....

I am 250lbs and 6'5", i got hung up on a curb and dented the rim, had 40psi in it. Now run 80psi back and 60psi front, not dented it since... Dupe...

Hi grumpySteve, I see no reason to use the existing supply chain, if you are talking about volumes in the order of a few 100 then any machine shop can manufacture and heat treat etc. I see you in the UK, in the midlands I see plenty of options including ... more »

I think you can assume that it ruined already, the method by Bulletpup is your best bet, it may make it usable again, but it will be much weaker so the slightest knock and it will bend again. Dupe...

Its 7075 aluminium, if its bent very gently you may be able to recover it especially if its along the grain, but it will have lost a lot of its strength. If its bent with a tight angle its dead. 7075 does not like being bent, it generally snaps fairly ... more »

Hi grumpySteve, I think a market does exist for products which raises the bar, now BMX is a relatively cheap past time (don’t shoot me down just yet). The most expensive bike you can put together now with off the shelf parts is £1800 or so? Compare that ... more »

Had them on last night, not sure why I thought they had protection at the back of the heal, they don't. Nothing at the back at all. They have padding at the sides, depending on how fat your legs are will depend how far it goes around. Dupe...
