I totally agree with you. But the unfortunate reality is that skaters/bikers and druggies are very often placed in the same basket. And that's because its an "outsider" thing. So, when a city is building a park, especially if its in an 'urban' environment, ... more »

Here in NYC, I would say the greatest damage to parks/spots comes neither from bikes nor skateboards, but from the people in general. Any freshly opened park will promptly be pissed on, covered in graffiti, and destroyed. At the end of the day, there ... more »

Alright bros, I've taken everyone's suggestions into consideration, and I have decided to go with the Odyssey Path's on clearance on Source. Only con is that they're 2.10 but I'm going to give it a go, front and back. It's windy as all hell in NYC anyway ... more »

Thanks for the help everyone. You think those GT tires are any good? I'm glad they are available in tanwall but obviously the brand isn't known for its modern parts, right ?

Guys, I've actually found exactly what I'm looking for, tan walls in 2.40, but I'm unsure of which to go with. They both seem to be quite inexpensive and I don't know if they will be any good. What do you think? https://www.danscomp.com/products/444032/Premium_CK_Tire_(Chad_Kerley).html ... more »

Update : I actually found some 2.30 Grifters in Tan for around $32 which is a steal for a kevlar bead IMHO, but I also came across some Duo Stunner Lo's in tan 2.25. So I'm going to just pull the trigger on one of these, which do you guys think would ... more »

Thanks for your help bros, but those are either to small or too expensive - I hate to be picky but I don't have the pockets for the folding kevlars

@HondaCRFRacer Thanks man, how should I go about inquiring?

You would have thought, right?! But Odyssey seems to no longer make tan Aitkens (not available on their website) and iirc the Fit FAF's came in tan on the 2.25's but again, cant find the colorway anymore. I'm guessing the tan went out of style so they ... more »

Okay so I understand that its not 2010 anymore, but I legit cant find a single tan-wall street tire on the market today (in 2.25-2.40). Do you guys have any leads? I've searched through Dans, Albes and Empire and couldn't find anything. There is variety ... more »

Thanks man, I always have a hard time with that because I'm scared to go over the bars. I think i should get shinpads, that might help with my confidence.

How do I do that? Should I kick harder or something?

Truthfully flyouts sus me out, always have - even barspins I learned by just throwing the bars on flatground like 7000 times until they stuck. I feel like I'm fine with the height I'm getting on these I just feel lanky in the air and don't know what ... more »

Really loving this build, I've always loved a white frame with all black parts. I particularly love those federal forks & animal cranks. How much does it weigh? And why the 165 cranks?

It's entirely plastic. Slides over the outside of the fork so it protects not only the hub but the dropouts of the frame/fork as well. Its super clean and entirely eliminates hangups, though I can't comment on the quality as I've only been doing light ... more »

Hahahaha, Gotta love the reinforcement they put into those dropouts, seat and headtube. My first ride looked something like that, a Diamondback something back in 2005ish.

Thanks! I do agree, I've noticed Squiers are starting to play a lot like Mexican/Japanese Fenders in recent years

Overseas manufacturing has definitely reached a great quality to price ratio.
