How often do riders get sponsorships? I assume that comes with exposure or face time or whatever. I've asked around, sent some emails... but to no avail. anyone have any experience with this? any "pay to play" guys?
the more the better. 100 may be a little much, but 55 is as low as i'd go.
like i said, keeping a "sponsor" would be difficult to keep if my time was given to a "job" of some sort. my college professors kind of made me quit my job so i could focus on my studying (i'm a music teacher). anyway. thanks!
WOW thank you all. does anyone have ANY experience actually riding for a team? like... Nike or something? it would really suck to be stuck at work when your sponsorship wants you to practice. now you lost your sponsorship cuz they couldn't pay you and ... more »

you can't offer people talent, and talent can't be bought. anyone else? maybe have a friend that got picked up by a brand?
that sounds like it sucks. don't you have to like... ride with other riders?

wow! look at those!
no i would really hate for this to happen to me. im pretty sure i would not want that.
you might notice, you might not. do you want to notice? if you do, make sure you keep track of which frame is which!
see if he likes skateboarding. a 20 inch bike is pretty much a 20 inch BMX bike. you don't want to have him build yet because there are a lot of pieces involved. complete skateboards are easier to keep track of.
yup! thanks!
thin tires remind me of Kenda. i think 2.24 is popular.
