Nice. The Wave/Model C is gonna be my next bike.

9/16", as the Saint has 3-piece cranks.

I want a full report of how it rides. I went on a ride with a dude who had one (a Saint) and it looked like a kickass bike. It's got a more progressive geometry than mine (a Mirraco 20Forty); it's almost geo'ed like a Sunday. I'm jealous.

Dude, your Saint looks awesome. How's it ride? The pegs say that they work with both 3/8" and 14mm axles and that they include an adapter. So maybe they come with the 3/8" adapter installed and you have to remove it for 14mm axles? Also, it doesn't look ... more »

On the Redline? Sure, just get a QR seat post clamp. Not sure about on the Saint though, hafta see what that's like when you get it. (I don't actually "race" either. I just have a race bike that I take to the track and ride during practice times, heh.) ... more »

That's a nice bike, but yeah, it's a racer. If you can get away with keeping both, you should take the Redline out to a track. See if racing is your "thing". I have a street/park bike and a race bike (both 24"); I'd totally be a racer but I hate waiting

Added reply in a thread 24" Tires?
Those look nice, Jon. If you get 'em, let us know how they ride.
Added reply in a thread 24" Tires?
Yeah, that's all I know of. We 24" riders do kinda get shafted on tires, heh.
Added reply in a thread sell me a 24" MTB complete. or a frame/fork
Sorry, man, I'm a "BMX cruiser" kinda guy so I don't have much for you. NS has a couple of good looking completes (the Holy 1 and Holy 2), but I don't know if they're 24" or 26". NS Bikes rock, though.

I just went through this same thing a month or so ago, but I was looking for street/park tires. I like the Odyssey Path K-Lytes, but they're a bit heavy. The Odyssey Aitkens are REALLY big and heavy, they were too big for me. I've got a set with about

Do you like your Felt? Does it ride well?
Added reply in a thread Sunday or Not?
A little late to the party, but... yeah, glad you got the Sunday. I ride Mirraco but I want to ride Sunday. Good choice.

I totally want to see pics of your Saint when you get it. Hell, I wanna see pics of your Redline before you get rid of it. :D

The MX24 is a great bike... if you're racing. Race bikes are setup with different components than a street/park/jump bike; they're lighter weight, made for going fast as opposed to jumping high or hard, or hitting concrete on a landing. You could buy ... more »
Added reply in a thread Disc Brakes
I've never run discs before, but I would on a 26 "street" MTB for sure. If you like 'em, tell the "run rim brakes" crowd to pound sand. :D

I hadn't looked at any of those before. I'm not a 26" guy, but the Volume Sledgehammer looks sweet.

The Mongoose Thrive was built with the Sunday Model-C in mind. The geometries are VERY similar, almost identical. The Thrive looks to have a good set of components on it, too. While I lust for a Mod-C, I'd be fully happy with a Thrive. They're both going ... more »

Them're good. I also like Mirraco. Stolen stuff seems to be pretty good, too.
