So, I was working on my nosemannys lately, and I noticed that I can do then uphill just fine, but downhill I either eat crap or bail every time. Is that normal? If people can only do them one way or the other, is it usually up- or downhill?

It still hurts sometimes. It can never heal unless I get a plate in it, but the doctors said they don't want to resort to that unless it gets worse.

Go for it, but whatever you do, don't just stand around and do nothing. People hate that. As long as you are actually riding, you'll probably get a lot of attention from the guys, but otherwise be just fine.
