If you get vans, make sure they're pro models. Any older style skate shoes (not wafty plimsolls) will be comfy and offer good protection, but the soles don't last forever if you're brakeless. I had etnies Michelin X Mariana and they were great but I ... more »
I was going to say acs boa with the 10mm axle. Less flex than the average sidepull. But it'll never work like a 990
Luckily for you, you're in the UK. Check out atomic welding, or bmxmods on Instagram, or entity bike shop (all their work is done by the same guy). He welds mounts on for £15. Might cost a bit more as he'll need to neaten that hack job up first, and ... more »
I don't wear pads because they're uncomfortable. Haven't got a clue why this is being discussed in a thread about freecoasters though.
BMX hubs are 110mm wide (rear) and 100mm wide (front). MTB hubs are 135mm wide (rear). Profile hubs can be converted easily. But they're not cheap. You could maybe try to find an older female hub that uses 10mm bolts and adapters. Not great for any kind ... more »
That link doesn't provide the geometry and I'm too lazy to Google it for myself. It's personal preference. But at your height I'd recommend sticking with 20.75. and lower bars.
Zero class. Buy some good whiskey, let hot girls have a shot. You'll be emptying your balls in no time
You could measure from centre of BB to centre of bars, similar to how the reach of a frame is measured. But people's bodies are different too. It literally just comes down to personal preference. Personally, I found tall bars worse for my back. It's ... more »
Raw the frame and forks (and bars if you're feeling adventurous)
Sliders are the only thing I like about it, I think
I can't see why they'd use a different factory for one model. It'd have its own shipping costs etc. So would cost more to produce.
It's a custom fbm
The chainstays look worse irl, they're rashed pretty badly with some dents but it looks a lot smoother in that light. I just ordered new forks so I don't mess these ones up too much. They're pretty sought after so I'll touch up the paint and take advantage ... more »
You pee on accident? Like in your pants?
Or Mars bars *Not a sponsored post
8.75 and a front load with a low stack headset and 5mm spacer. Bars are also cut to 26ish" To me, everything is a little harder with lower bars, but feels more dialled
You sure it's called a social21 or is that an assumption? I'd assume it's got a 21"tt. They only make one aftermarket frame and it's not available in 21". So I'd also assume it's from a complete. Maybe the raw, if it's brakeless, or storm if it has removable ... more »
If it's not ti but noticeably lighter than an average frame, it'll be shit and crack if you sneeze too hard. Geometry makes a much bigger difference when it comes to frames. If you want a lighter feeling bike, get carbon rims. Rotational weight has a ... more »
Krooked can be funny af, maybe I meant favourite edgelord, but I'm pretty sure all of them are a bit too old to be acting edgy
