With a custom-painted seafoam colored frame and custom hydrodipped parts throughout the setup, I present to Vital my ramp-ready bike, HYDRO-FOAM.
With a custom-painted seafoam colored frame and custom hydrodipped parts throughout the setup, I present to Vital my ramp-ready bike, HYDRO-FOAM. Tall bars and dual cables. The best of the hydrodipped bunch, my stem. The rest of the lower setup. Little art piece of my setup. Capturing utmost detail was my goat. I mean goal. Cables lookin' fine! Happy with my efforts.

Additional Info Dialed, kinda light, and really responsive. Everything tight, greased, and working smoothly, just the way it should be! As of 8/5/17, this bike no longer exists. It's been one heck of a ride, but it's time to move on to another setup!

How do you do the hydro dip thing? Is it just paint on top of water? Can you use regular spray paint? It looks sick. I want to try it.

    Thanks, ggallin!

Essentially, that's exactly how to do it. I followed this video by a favorite Channel of mine exactly step-by step except for the rawing parts bit as it's too much of a hassle and, TBH, I don't think it's completely necessary.

Start at 10:30 in this video to skip over the intro and talking, if you like. They dip various parts, but I think at 10:30 to around 11:00 there's the best example of how to do it. It's scooter-related, hope you don't mind: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HJE0tZZvjK0

That's the first thing that came to mind for me as well! Kriss has always been a favorite, I was stoked to see the outcome! :D

It's been real fun! I've ridden it a few times before, but only now I'm really beginning to enjoy it.

How are the R32's holding up? I'm thinking about upgrading to those in a bit.

I trust them for my life! Been running this particular one for 3 years now. Started off chrome, went through front brakes, and now it's painted black. I'm not the hardest shredder, but it's lasting, highly recommend it!

how did you run your front brakes?

Odyssey 1999 Caliper brake setup. It was okay-ish, not the stopping power I wanted, but they were decent enough.
