can i use a drop out spacers on my odyessey dirt classic 14 mm forks with a female axle or do i need a male axle? (please reply)

So my friend gave me odyessy dirt classic forks but the dropout size is 14mm, is it okay to run a 3/8 axle on a 14mm fork because my local bike don't have any adapters to fit them? also, does danscomp or any website that has bmx parts have any adapters ... more »
