Thats stirling so about 4k USD. No concrete base, i'm going to lay decorative type decking which will add to the cost but it can be used for other things and will look better.

Cheers socalshreds. My local park has a 5.5ft one and I can just about air it so I guess around 5ft would be ok. Spine the same height then, ok that makes sense. It's a new house we've bought and as it was quite small we are currently having a new roof ... more »

Hi Dave, yes I've got no problems riding spines. That's good to know about the width cheers. I was looking at two quarters that could be bolted into a spine or a box bolted to one end of a box with a straight ramp the back side. Like a modular ramp setup ... more »

Thanks for your reply jmz. Its always going to be a compromise and the problem is the width, it's not the wideat garden (25ftish). I'm happy to use the full length as I can make the flat section out of something 'decorative' and use it as a kind of patio ... more »

I think you're right. Plus I can buy an 'off the shelf' kit rather than a special which will cost more. 5 by 12 ft is about £2.5k... http://www.fouronefour.co.uk/self-build/

Cheers for all the replies guys, sorry I didn't make it very clear I realised, I'm gonna build a mini ramp half pipe. I'd have to work out the area needed for a 6' and see if it would squeeze in. What's the minimum width I should think about. I think ... more »

I'm thinking of buying a pre made, self assembly mini ramp for the garden. I'm not used to riding park stuff (MTB/ MX is my thing) but I find it relaxing and fun. I can just about air a 7ft 1/4, the biggest I can see off the shelf is 5ft. What size would ... more »
