It's a widely used stem from S&M. It will hold up. Just use regular sized bars.

These Empire cranks are the Fit/S&M OEM cranks. I have them and haven’t had any issues.
My Fit 22 has a QR clamp and I love it. Same thing: I can jack up the seat to cruise with my kid.

Salmon Kool Stop pads fixed this issue for me. I have a Kink Drifter with stock Mission brakes.
