I did think it was odd that Simms was barely in the "It's All the Same Shit" video. At the time I figured he was injured. I'm a huge S&M/Fit fan, but I don't think the company did itself any favors with the wording of that statement, or especially ... more »
S&M still makes them, but if you're over 200 pounds I'd recommend something stronger.
I'm a highly sketchy pedal grinder, and I weigh a lot, so YMMV. My favorite plastic pedal I've tried is the Merritt P1. I don't like an insane amount of grip, and, to me, these are just right. They hold up fairly well to grinds too. As jmz213 said above, ... more »
Here's my trans red ATF 22.
I agree with all of this, and would add that, for me at least, it was a great way to reenter BMX after being out for a while. I really like the 22 for pump track and bowls too. But I wouldn't recommend one for someone who's already comfortable on a 20". ... more »
Injuring myself.
Damn, that chrome rules!
I think I've posted this before, but switch out the stock pads for some Kool Stop salmon or dual compound. Then you should be good to go on the brakes.
S&M Race XLT bars are 8 back 4 up and available in those sizes (though they appear to be sold out at the moment). T-1 Ruben bars are 9.2" rise with 14 back 4 up
Try band pull aparts. It could be a general issue with posture, and if so this will help.
Vans Authentic low tops? I love them, although they aren't particularly durable.
Yeah, the G-Sport Uniguard works this way as well.
I agree with this and will add that, if you spend a lot of time sitting, get up and walk for a few minutes every hour.
Good point, I misread your post. That's annoying for sure. Postal delays aren't an issue when the item doesn't ship to begin with!
I ordered from them recently, and it came quickly. Remember though that USPS is a mess right now, and things just aren't arriving on time, and tracking isn't always updated.
The S&M Clint Reynolds grips are in the same style as the Hoders, but they're noticeably thinner. Fit Tech grips feel thin to me too.
S1 Mega Lifer if you have a head size over 7 5/8 and don't mind looking like you have another planet growing from your already planet-sized head. By far the most comfortable helmet I've used.
I agree that height/weight shouldn't be the main determining factor. But depending on the kind of riding you want to do, a 26" can be a lot of fun. As dave Lawrence mentioned though, they're usually sold as completes marketed toward older dudes who want ... more »
Seems to me (and I speak from experience) that you're overthinking it and that you should probably wait for the 21". What fork do you plan to use? I saw your post in the 22" Facebook group, considering an 22" ATF. I'd personally rather have the 21.625 ... more »
