I think I've posted this before, but switch out the stock pads for some Kool Stop salmon or dual compound. Then you should be good to go on the brakes.

S&M Race XLT bars are 8 back 4 up and available in those sizes (though they appear to be sold out at the moment). T-1 Ruben bars are 9.2" rise with 14 back 4 up

Try band pull aparts. It could be a general issue with posture, and if so this will help.

Vans Authentic low tops? I love them, although they aren't particularly durable.

Yeah, the G-Sport Uniguard works this way as well.

I agree with this and will add that, if you spend a lot of time sitting, get up and walk for a few minutes every hour.

Good point, I misread your post. That's annoying for sure. Postal delays aren't an issue when the item doesn't ship to begin with!

I ordered from them recently, and it came quickly. Remember though that USPS is a mess right now, and things just aren't arriving on time, and tracking isn't always updated.

The S&M Clint Reynolds grips are in the same style as the Hoders, but they're noticeably thinner. Fit Tech grips feel thin to me too.

S1 Mega Lifer if you have a head size over 7 5/8 and don't mind looking like you have another planet growing from your already planet-sized head. By far the most comfortable helmet I've used.

Reply to Scarcity of 26 inch BMX frames and forks 8/4/2020 7:54 AM

I agree that height/weight shouldn't be the main determining factor. But depending on the kind of riding you want to do, a 26" can be a lot of fun. As dave Lawrence mentioned though, they're usually sold as completes marketed toward older dudes who want ... more »

Seems to me (and I speak from experience) that you're overthinking it and that you should probably wait for the 21". What fork do you plan to use? I saw your post in the 22" Facebook group, considering an 22" ATF. I'd personally rather have the 21.625 ... more »

What's your budget?

Reply to Building a custom... 8/3/2020 8:43 AM

I own the Fit 22, and agree with your points, though I will say getting a 26mm Pitchfork made a difference in weight and maneuverability. The stock fork weighs three pounds. The 22" ATF has a pretty mellow HT angle at 74.25, compared with 74.5 on the ... more »

Bike is very cool, but why all the Cult stickers on a Fiend frame?

It's a widely used stem from S&M. It will hold up. Just use regular sized bars.
