Seems like you have the wrong mindset to ride. A lot of these younger kids nowadays watch all these videos online and think they can do all of it at a blink of an eye. Bmx takes a lot of patience and practice. If you're throwing your bike in anger then ... more »

Yeah man it's a huge adjustment running two brake levers. I used to run front brakes and I've been itching to build something else with fronts. It's going to happen!

Reply to Im not sure if i should carry on riding bmx 9/20/2017 8:11 AM

I'm in my 30's and started riding when I was around 7 or 8. Never became pro and endured injuries along the way. But I can say I've made a lot of my friends from bmx. Now that I have kids, I don't do half the crazy shit I used to but I still go out and ... more »

Let's take baby steps! I have been experimenting with plastic pegs finally, running 4 pegs, and now going to try a freecoaster for the first time. Overwhelming hahaha

That's a possibility as well. I mean shit, it is a hazard rim

Reply to Don't know if I should pass up this deal 9/18/2017 3:18 PM

Well I ride street mainly and have always been on a cassette. Lately I've been tossing around the idea of trying a freecoaster for once. Saw this and figured it's a decent wheel at a decent price. I'm not hurting for money or anything it's just $100, ... more »

I was thinking the same about re selling it but to think of not running pegs makes me cringe! I grind a lot lol

Reply to how did you earn money and get parts when you were 14 9/16/2017 9:41 AM

I've been working since I was 6 or 7 years old. I worked in my grandparents custom furniture shop for years and then got my first legit job at 14 at a local grocery shop. And then continued on to where I'm at now. It's simple, work!

Reply to Is higher psi always better? 9/16/2017 6:19 AM

Why laugh at it? Tire psi is all user preference. Some like a squishy tire because they don't want their wrists getting beat up. Some like higher psi to roll fast, park riders are a perfect example. Or a higher psi to prevent pinch flats. I myself have ... more »
