It's not a topload stem. I don't consider the frame odd....maybe amazing is the word you're looking for? As for color, I got Black, chrome, red peg, blue seatclamp.

Doesn't matter really. The wheel axle doesn't have to be at the top of the dropouts...it should be close, but it doesn't need to be exact.

Umm...put the rear wheel in the dropouts with the chain installed and the appropriate amount of links removed, then exert downward force on the seat of the bike. While doing this, tighten the axle nuts.
