Below the salt is legit and a pleasure to work with. His prices were fair and he shipped the parts quickly with tracking info. Would not hesitate to do business again.

^Damn man. I feel your frustration on that one. Tires are so expensive these days.

You already know I like this build, but I'm not sure at this point if I'm more jealous of that or the places you have to ride. Awesome ride and great pics, man.

I think this has officially morphed into a Ford thread, and on that note I got the fuel tank out of the ranger the other day. I knew it was a little thin, but the damn thing started leaking before I could even get the straps fully off. Leaked old gas ... more »

Bummed for you man. We've all been cooped up enough this year, so I can only imagine this is especially annoying, let alone painful. I've been spending a good bit of time here and there looking up riders and video on google and youtube from SlavBMX's ... more »

We've (Maryland) been lucky with the weather so far this year. Rains a lot, but as temperature goes, still very tolerable to be outside. Dave, you keep that damn snow and don't be sending it our way, I'm not ready yet. That said, why didn't I think of ... more »

Makes sense, I figured someone who would run sub 9” bars and a front load must have been around in the late mid school/ older new school times. I love the balance of shorter bars with short back end and higher BB of the newer frames. I’ve always been ... more »

My kind of ride here. Must be super responsive with the r15s. Does it ever feel twitchy at all? I like the litehouse, just set up one for the front of mine. Nice build.

Added reply in a thread Should I try Brakeless? 10/14/2020 1:34 AM

I’m going brakeless next because I got some 25.4 bars and my levers don’t fit. They work perfect with my 22.2 stem, though.

Nice ride man. The 99-04s were good driving cars. Looked better than the previous gen too. I’m the Weber guy. I’ll take one over a Holley any day. I never much cared for one make of car over another. They all have their quirks. I adopted an 87 cutlass ... more »

Definitely joking. Bit of an edgy thing to joke about at that, but a thread like this is bound to breed a little controversy at some point.

I’ve said before, part of the fun in bmx is the infinite number of combinations you can make with all the parts that are available. I’d much rather have a completely unique setup than try to copy someone else’s just because I like it. Colors are easy ... more »

Cky, the T1’s looking good. Curious to see the Sunday.

Thanks, now I’m going to be thinking about rainbows next time I try to hop something.

It's not a big deal with so much information being online these days. I assembled my first 3 cross wheel in short order following along with a how to video. Took me as long to true it as it did to assemble, possibly due to enjoying a few too many adult ... more »

Bmx Guru is great. I've bought stuff from them a few times over the years. As far as I know they ship to U.S. only, though.

Added reply in a thread Wheels 10/11/2020 8:03 PM

Yup, I’ve always trued my wheels on the bike. I use the brake pads on the back or a wire tie on the fork.

Good buy on the Trust. Some really nice components on that one. Be curious to see the paint outside in good light.
