Wow, thx for the time hacks! Also thx for the help on starting out. I’m buying!
Matthias Dandois...so this is where I kind of break my brain with flatland (and the original purpose of the thread). His Redbull video where he is shredding a warehouse is incredible, but I have a love/hate relationship with watching: I love watching ... more »
Watched the video...cool watching those tricks, but it also brings me to back in the day. I already ride 4 pegs but am kind of on the fence about front brakes. I think I just need to start slow. The only real “flatland” trick I consider knowing is a ... more »
Thanks man. I think that’s kind of the spot I’m in now. My fingers can’t grip as well when they’re all white and numb so I stay away from the more risky stuff/drops in the cold. You’re right about practicing the basics. I learned how to fakie years ago ... more »
Hey thanks man...didn’t realize that until your reply. I just posted in General Topics...Admins can you close this thread in this section?
So I used to love the cold weather...now anything less than 50 degrees completely demotivates me to ride outside. I used to be the total opposite (hating hot weather), but after a couple deployments to Iraq my heat tolerance was way up. Now I lose circulation ... more »

Oh...and my manuals still suck. But admittedly I have spent very little time practicing.
The first year I got back into BMX I learned how to bunny hop(the right way), 180, fakie/half cab, double peg/feeble. The thing is I was shit at all of it except for hops, only landing 20-50% of the time (depending on the trick). This year (“year 2”) ... more »
This. I love my S&M Speedballs 2.4 (which are really 2.5) in front but they can’t fit on my R25 forks...had to switch tires
BSD Unit cro-mo pegs. I love them. They are inexpensive, moderately-sized (4.4)”, and I also like how they look kind of skinny/low profile at 32mm diameter. The laser-etched BSD acid face looks tight and if you are weight conscious they are pretty damn ... more »

You bring up a really good point. There are older riders like myself who comment on this forum and provide feedback based on their experience...but this in no way trumps the experience gained by younger riders. Young or old, I will consider any piece ... more »

I started riding in the 90s and just recently came back to it a couple years ago. Even the heaviest bikes now seem light in comparison. But...the geometry now is MUCH more responsive. I notice geo changes to my frame/bars/forks much more that I do weight ... more »

Same, my Tallboy is flat/raw and I’ve had for a year. I usefully take off most of the stickers, so when I get bored with the look and tires/grips wear out, I’ve been changing those. I am running all black with the raw frame now but was running gum/leather

That color way is dope. I love S&M bikes, but the colorways are really repetitive ( I would love a matte or pastel finish). The more I see the Williams frame the more I like...I’m into the knurling on the dropouts and the seat stay looks really cool. ... more »
Found someone to trade with who is local. Thx!
Thanks! I really like the geo on the Tallboy but just recently got my hands on a Holy Diver that I built up in my room while on a business trip for my daughter’s birthday. It has a 20.75 TT and I love it...I give up a little bit of comfort, but I feel

Haha, no worries. Speedballs: 2.4 front, 2.1 rear
I live in SE PA. I am more than willing to meet for the trade rather than going through shipping hassle.
I have a raw 21.25 Tallboy frame that I want to trade for either a 21 or 20.75 (preferred). No dents and this has been my backup so it is in really good shape (all stickers removed). I am open to different colors (not interested in Pink) and conditions,
