Quotes from Allan Cooke
“We’ve been at all outdoor parks this time instead of indoor like we have on the other trips. A couple of the parks were concrete, free, city parks and don’t have an admission fee, so this is the most accessible Local Exposure Tour yet. Mesa had so many kids there. A couple of months ago bikes were not allowed at the park, but now they are. When we pulled up there were about 250 bikers there.”

“As far as the pros, everyone has been chill. The parks have been crowded so the pros are staying out of locals’ way. Of al the pros on the trip, Chase Hawk and Dave Rytell have pushed themselves the most. At every stop Rytel is proving he’s worthy and getting some good clips.”

“This trip is more about the locals than the pros trying to get clips. It’s kind of a vacation and eye-opener for the pros to get to see what all of the kids are doing. There is no pressure to get bangers at the parks.”

“There weren’t any locals that made it to all of the first three stops. That will most likely change California next week, which will be cool to see. It will give you a chance to see variety from the riders on different terrain.”

“Over the next few days that we have off, everything that we’re going to do involves going fast, is dangerous, and you have to wear full protective gear…”

Local Exposure Tour (LET) is a chance for some of the top pro’s in BMX to set out on a road trip with the idea to search for some unknown amateur talent at local skate parks. This is the first time in LET history that we come out to the West coast in search of talent.

The rules are that anyone can enter as long as you have not been featured in a advertisement by a sponsor. All ages and skill levels are welcome to come and ride our jam format and best of all it’s all free! (Some parks require standard entry fee and waiver to be signed) Amateur riders will get a chance to ride with their favorite pros and show them the hot lines around their local park. Due to the great support we have for this year we have a ton of goods to give away at every stop so no one should leave empty handed!
