Favorite trick: Have to go with a 360! Just one of the best feelings on a bike.

One trick you just can't seem to get: Every trick! Hahah. No, supermans always get me. I might as well call them froggermans!

One trick you want to learn: I would love to learn Cannonballs. Some guys make that trick look so good.

How long have you been riding and what got you into it? I have been riding bikes for 18 years! I started racing BMX when I was 5 and never stopped since then. My dad took me to the track because I wanted to try it. Took my first gate and won my first race and haven't stopped since.

Do you remember your first "real" BMX bike? I had a 20 inch Free Agent that my dad did a custom fade paint job and we put a Haro sticker pack on! Haha. But my really memorable bike was a Haro Nyquist X2 that had Alex triple walls and Haro slim bars cut down to 23 inches wide. And a meganuck sprocket. That was a good bike!

Describe your current setup. Are you particular about any specific things? I feel like most people have at least one thing they are really picky about. My setup right now feels really good! Bar height and angle is always one of those things that if it's not right then my bike always feels super crazy.

What is it like riding for Colony? Riding for Colony has been great! Cooper, Keith and Clint have all been so nice. It's great having a company that is excited about me as much as I'm excited about them!

Describe a typical day in the life of Nathan Sykes. A normal day would be turn my alarm off at 7:30. Not sure why I have set to that! Hahah get up around 9 ish. Throw something at my roommate Matt Cordova make sure to get his day started off right. Then get out into the garage and take care of any Locals Only orders. So I'll print, sew, package and what ever else needs taken care of to get orders ready to ship. Hit the post office and drop off the goods then the rest of the day ride where ever the day takes me. Finish up riding at dark have some grub and then back home to either edit photos or videos.

What is on the horizon for 2015 and the rest of 2014? Do you have any trips planned or video parts you are working on? Right now I'm on a trip to Utah with the Colony boys. For the rest of this year I would like to make it out to Dreamline and Texas toast. Have to see if I can make that work out. And for next year just keep enjoy the adventures that come!

Any last words? I want to thank my parents for always loving and praying for me. My amazing friends and family back home in Oregon and all the great people in California that have welcomed me as family this last 8 months. Very blessed and thankful for everyone! Thank you Colony for the support and the many years of good times ahead! Cheers.
