Radio's new line of complete bikes just dropped and they're looking mighty fine. Take an up-close look at the 2017 Astron -
The new 2017 Radio Bikes complete bike range just arrived at bike shops around the world, and if you’re on the lookout for a ready to shred, full skatepark machine, then the new 2017 Astron might be worth taking a closer look at…
Fully re-designed for 2017, the Astron combines a shorter 20.6” toptube, and a 13.2” chainstay, as well as a lower 7.9” standover height for real park geometry based off Radio’s aftermarket frames and with input from the team.

With a full 4130 crmo bar and fork and a slew of new parts from Salt and Saltplus including the NEW Comp stem, Moto XL brake and wider 2.30” Sting tires, the Astron is designed to look and most importantly ride just like bikes that the PRO’s are riding on. You’ll also notice that the Astron comes out of the box with a Salt AM rotor kit all setup and ready for all the barspins and whips you can throw at it. However all the brake hardware is removable so if you want to ride the Astron brakeless you can have that super clean look.
What makes the Astron truly special is the attention to detail you’ll see across the bike. Just like many park riders, there is only a flange on the brake lever side grip to protect your thumb and make barspins that bit easier to catch. The Astron also comes with super slim Saltplus Forum pedals and even a reflective strip on the sidewall of the Blue version.

The Astron is available now for $565.99 in two jaw dropping and truly special colourways, Blue Chrome and a Black/Red Splatter, both of which are sure to turn heads wherever you go.
You can pick up or order the Astron or any of the new 2017 Radio Bikes at your local bike shop or mailorder around the world. If you’re looking for Radio Bikes in the USA, the brand is now through QBP and is available to order in from most shops.
