Vital BMX Photo Contest Results  On December 10th, we launched our first Photo Contest here on Vital BMX complete with great prizes from Haro and Premium Products. Scroll down to see the winners.

At first we planned to simply have prizes for first through third, but after we went through all of the entries three times, we decided to change things up a bit. Our new format resulted in seven winners, and each is getting two prizes so both the photographer and the rider get something good (they can fight over who gets what). This contest proved that there are some great photographers out there—poke around the User Uploads on the Photo Homepage for proof. Click each image below for more details, and hit this to see the prizes these guys will be getting in the mail.

Scroll down to see all the winners, and thanks to everyone who entered. We will be contacting the winners shortly to roundup shipping addresses.

Athens, GA park gap

The Holy Crap Award

I hope Brian “Sped” Hinkle pulled this gap off at this cement skatepark. I really want to see the footage that guy in the background got. Photo by Derek McKinney

The Best Big Trick Award

Joey Hill came through with a lot of great photos right at the last minute, and it paid off. This icepick in Nashville is no joke. Joey is claiming he doesn't know who the photographer is, but I bet he's going to find out now.

The Best Feel Award

Something about this rail photo just feels right. A rider (Dan Frisbee) out getting it done wherever, whenever—even posting the photo at an angle works. Good stuff. Photo by Brendan Vail

The Coolest Angle Award

Sam Schlappi found a cool curved wallride in downtown Chicago, and an even cooler camera angle to go along with it. Sam said that he set the camera up and a friend pushed the button, so it will be interesting to see how the prizes get divided… Photo by Logan Behyl

The Most Original Award

I’m a sucker for interesting tricks and cool lighting, and this photo of VeganRider delivers on both ends. Photo by Steve Olson.

The Best Use of an Airplane Award

I’m not sure why this flip-trick needed an airplane in the background, but it does give this shot of Bob W. a little extra juice. Photo by Triggerface

The Best Crash Award

Yeah, you say you don’t like crash photos, until you see something like this. Sean Logan’s tough so I’m sure he walked away in one piece. Photo by K. Fisher
