Yeah im pretty bummed. But right now my girlfriend is more important and we're on the verge of splitting because im a no good failure, so I need money in my pocket to help me turn my life around. Theres no doubt ill miss my bike, but I would rather that than have to miss her.

i offer you advice. You're not a failure and if she's making you quit what you love then kick her ass to the curb. The economy is fucked right now. Finding work aint easy. And not graduating high school doesnt make you any less of a person. Make yourself happy not her. She won't always be around and that bike aint gonna decide to treat you like shit and leave one day. She never directly told me to sell my bike. What happened was, she decided it was time to move on since the distance was only letting us hang out every other weekend when my mom would pick her up.. and she felt like she was missing out on things because I dont have money or good grades. I can rarely take her on dates and I can never take her to school dances because my GPA isnt high enough. She wants to be able to go to prom and homecoming but I haven't been able to take her...
After two days of begging she agreed to give me another chance. Im getting my permit tomorrow and applying for jobs again this weekend and getting put on meds for my ADD to help me pass school.. and hopefully I wont have to sell my bike..

She accepts my riding (though she doesn't understand the point of it) and somewhat supports me. The bike has nothing to do with this, its just the only thing of value I own. It looks like I have another chance and shouldn't have to sell it, I just have to find a way to get a job. Even if it means riding 2 hours on the highway every day
