My nephew and I are about to start designing and making sprockets. Right now they are going to be 25t and 28t only and 1/4" thick. They will be made of the same aircraft grade aluminum all other sprockets are made of. Almost any design can be done. Check out the one with "DRB" that we are doing for a local bike shop. What u guys think? Feedback...

never got to that part yet but we're not looking to make a fortune. price will be depending on what you want. roughly around $30 or so. not really sure. I will be doing some powder coating soon on small parts and may look into sending a few out to be anodized. We will be making a few within the next 2 weeks.

How much? I've got a design I'd like to see, how bout cutting a couple Maltese Crosses on the sprocket . Not the Iron Cross, the style Maltese cross that we use for the fire service.

What type of stock are you cutting them out of and will they
be heat treated, forged or hardened?
This is a great idea and you definitely picked the right
forum to introduce your new product.
Good luck and I can't wait to see the finished sprockets.

any generic one is going to be in the $30 price range. Custom will be $50 and above depending on detail and so on. We are working on what they should cost. Should have a good idea in a week or so once we get the quotes for the material we need and factor in the time it will take. A "custom" one will take 1-2 hours to design. The cost may be high to some but where are you going to get a one of a kind sprocket. More info to come in the next week or so.

Colors shouldn't be a problem.

Weed leaf design should be able to make it work.

Famous with cut out instead of engraving....not a problem

More to come..

I don't think that they'll be able to use copyrighted
symbols or logos. Those are manufacturer specific but
they could always cut some deals!

I'd hate to see some lawyer torpedo the good ship Sprocketmaker; especially
when we all need cool looking sprockets for our whips!
Keep us updated on your progress and release date.
Later and good luck.
