It's been a LONG time coming! Rode front brakes back in the day & when I started riding again, I felt like something was missing!

Yeah, well, the camera angle doesn't help & I haven't cut them down yet so they are WAY wide which doesn't help perspective. LOL!

Bike looks good, but those bars make me want to kill myself. I hate to say it but I strongly dislike them.

The forks w/ front brakes look prime!

Those bars made me lol. They are way too narrow at the clamping area, and way too tall. Might just be the ugliest bars I have ever seen. They look fragile honestly. Besides that looks great though. What kind of bars are they? They look like giant flatland bars. As long as it feels good, I guess that's what matters.

No, I traded a friend some 8.5's I had for them. They are Eastern Throttle bars. They are only like $30 on Eastern's site. 100% cr-mo... not bad. & I get that they are narrow at the clamp area, but hey.... that's also where you are normally knocking your knees so....

BTW, if you wanted a pair, I might know of a set that are like new. Of course, at $30 new, it's not like they aren't readily available. LOL.

nice! the routing on the front cables looks wrong though. try cutting the arms so the slot is deeper and the cable is straighter

Yeah, I thought the same thing. I want to cut the housing down a little too. Was sorta dragging my feet on it because it got bitter cold recently & whenever I do something to my bike, I always want to go ride it after I make adjustments. THEN, I ordered a new headset. So, I figured I'd wait until it arrived to do it all at once. The stock headset just doesn't seem to fit as well as it should, it seems, with the new fork. Plus, I really question Eastern's "sealed headset" when both bearing come apart when the front end is disassembled. Sure, when installed it is "sealed" but the bearings aren't true sealed units.

HEAR THAT BITCHES?! I'M TALKING POORLY OF EASTERN!
