For some reason Vital wouldn't let me post my whole comment? But yeah ^ That ^ Was my face when i saw your bike! The Raw looks epic! So much nicer than the Purple (Which was pretty nice anyways!) Raw is my Favourite Frame colour EVER! 99% of Raw Frames look great, apart from the Flat/Primer & the older Taiwanese frames that were just a dull Grey.

I did do em with a quick shot of red. but when I put it together I just wasnt feling the red anymore so I stripped it and went this route

i used paint stripper and copper scrubbers. let the stripper sit about 10 minutes then scrubbed it with the copper scrubbers. when all was done I sprayed it with the hose then wiped it down. followed by clear coat. Most frames with factory paint don't shpw the weld marks when rawed just so you know

Alright thanks - my BTM is trans black and i can kinda see the weld marks through the paint, so it should be good. Think i'll end up doing this in a few weeks.

How does the rawed rim work out for braking? What pads do you use?
I have a rawed and polished odyssey quadrant and used odyssey slim by four clear pads and they make noise, loose brake power in no time, and leave the rim all black and dirty. Then i have to clean the pads and rim with pain thinner for 10 minutes after every hour of riding to get everything back to work, and its not worth the effort. How does your setup behave?
