Pretty sweet for a Cheap Build!

You need to get Yourself some Rear Pegs though! I know a few Flat Riders don't run Rear Pegs but it will hinder Your Progression! Good luck with saving up for Parts to upgrade Your Streetland/Flat Bike!

One last thing! Don't give up on Flatland, It's HARD & it takes a long time & it is VERY Frustrating, BUT.... When You pull a link or roll out of a certain Trick for the first time, trust me man its EPIC! I know not having much money sucks ass, BUT... (Again lol) When you get yourself a Job or Inherit some money etc & blow it all on a Top Spec Bike! BEST FEELING EVVVVAAAAAARRR!!! Most "Normal" People wont understand that haha.

It's a good start! Throw some front brakes and rear pegs and go nuts!

In the first pic there are two pegs behind my bike, that is for the rear but I need to bring it to a machine shop to fix it because I have a big axle freecoaster.

I'd like to upgrade my cranks and rims when I have the cash and this will be all good. Unless something breaks.
also, I'm having troubles with my rear brakes. I want my stem on the top of the steerer tube to get more height on my bars. but the brake cables aren't long enough. I can set that up but the brake cables are too stretched it won't stretch anymore to make my brakes work.

No wonder.. You run screw-on pegs.. If they cause too much trouble, try to get some regular plastic pegs or some budget ones. And how's the freecoaster?

Yup those are screw on pegs, But I grind the threads off so it would work like normal pegs.


As for the freecoaster, It broke on me thrice already. I keep on repairing it over and over. But luckily it's holding til now. Though I expect it to be like that since it was super cheap local free coaster also it has 3 crown bearings(I took off the Crowns) and 1 sealed bearing. If I had money to buy a much better FC I would. But today I'll stick to this one.

Moved my brakes to front. Planning on adding another brake for rear what do you think?

Thanks man! I can't buy high end parts so I have to make my bike to look nice.

If there is some parts I would upgrade what is it? please do comment. Im saving up money for upgrading my parts. Don't suggest any parts that are expensive lol. I was planning on buying either a GT crank with Hollow Tubing 8spline or GT crank with 48spline. I wanted it to be lighter since I'm doing flatland.

would it be lighter than the hollow spindle?
I am into the 48spline because it has chrome but hollow spindle would make my bike lighter (Not Sure) but only black is availabe.

I mostly ride flatland and a little bit of street. So I guess crank strength wouldn't be an issue.

I changed some of my parts to shed some weight on my bike.
From 31lbs to 27-28lbs.

I changed my steel seatpost to an aluminum one.
I also changed my front hub with a slim one
I also upgraded my Loose Ball BB to sealed and
175mm cranks to 140mm (originally, I planned on buying a 175mm brand new cranks. I got the 140mm for $22 in mint condition)

I spent $277 building my bike. I don't know if that is good or not.

I am planning on selling my frame and buying a used one that weighs 2.1kg. 19TT 13CS frame.
Will it lighten my bike? What other parts should I upgrade to make it lighter?

I'm not a weight weenie I just had an injury with my wrist during my internship in a hotel so my wrist hurts like hell when riding especially when I apply pressure to it.

I heard it will reduce the rotational weight.

Dont worry too much about the weight of your bike, just wait till your wrist heals, as long as you feel comfortable on your bike then thats all that matters, and I dont know if that 19"TT will be good, unless your like 5'2, but as long as your bars are high enough then it probably wont be a problem

yeah, and also light street riding won't break the frame. it's light even though it's made of hi-ten around 2.4Kg.

Im done with repainting. Actually I did it twice because the first one it scratch easily. Now I put 5-6 coats of clear coat. after the paint dries, I applied "Turtle Wax" you know, the one you use on cars. It made it hard.
