Yeah man it's good but it's in euros and it looks like you're from new york so it'd just be more expensive to buy it man get something from the US

Thanks for the reply! I'm not from USA, from United Kingdom, Manchester. I heard Mongoose is crap and all sorts. So that's why I'm unsure but from the specs it seems decent for skate park use, I think..

The mongoose bikes to avoid come from Walmart and the like. Go to the actual Mongoose BMX website and look around there. The specs are posted there.

Well then that bike is HEAVY!!!! 189 pounds!!!! Jk. Actually, that is a pretty good deal. The new one is $449, and the Legion is $499.

The only problem is it does not say how much the bike weighs.

Don't worry about the weight. It's a great bike for a beginner, and for the money. I would buy it myself, honestly, but I'm also a Mongoose fan, haha.

Hahaa cool smile. I might buy it then but have to wait a few days (mum hasn't got enough cash yet :/) but gives me more time to keep looking. I have been hearing though the less the weight the easier it is to try out tricks etc. I'm still trying to look for other second hand bikes that I can maybe get for a little cheaper with full chromoly

Bike stuff can be expensive. That bike, considering its full chromoly and new, with sealed bearings, is a good deal. However, if its out of your budget, look around, like you said. There is no shortage of kids that wanted an expert level custom from mommy and daddy, but then, still couldn't hop, and gave up, so they are selling a $1700 bike on Craig's list for 5 or 600.
