So it started its life as a hand-me-down 1997 GT/Robinson BMX. I had every part to make it whole and I built it up with the original parts but was unsatisfied.

Decided to make it modern! Here is the end result for those that havent seen.

P.S. for the people that have already watched the progression I replaced the tires with my older Odyssey Dugans and put a new Mission convoy female cassette wheel on. Also got bored and outlined all the brown "blobs" on my giraffe seat with a black pen...lol

Its funny cause I bought it with intentions of re-wrapping it with some other kind of print or dyeing it some other color. But its growing on me! Thanks for the compliment. This mission convoy rear wheel is fucking awesome btw. Not antigram awesome but pretty fucking cool. It comes with some 14mm adaptors so you can run it with either size dropouts. It sounds suprisingly good and the pawls have a lot of spring tension on them, feels like individual springs not a wraparound c-spring.

Fact! V-Brakes ALWAYS worked better than 990-style brakes... better leverage. I think they stick with 990 brakes because it's the closest to V-Brake performance but keeps the brake cable out of the way.
