Akimbos are in the near future hopefully, I just figured i'd ride these until they died. I don't ride much anymore so they've lasted a decent while.

Wheels I haven't really decided on yet. All i know is I'm tired of building them so they'll likely be a matching stock set.

And I'm waiting on a Delusion topload, until then I'm running this here flexy Shadow. Because i've got my forks cut all the way down there's a lot more flex in this stem than usual because the top of the stem isn't really clamping onto anything. The new one is supposed to be a one off completely solid version of the topload he'll eventually be selling.

I'm not really a big fan of cutouts and excessive machining.

Freestyle is the answer to everything --
a fresh way to approach a dull or a

to do a dull thing with style
is preferable to doing a dangerous thing

Yours isn't all that bad.

When in doubt, paint everything black. Except that rear wheel you've got, don't go painting chrome.

I'm not really too particular when it comes to tires. I have no complaints about these, but i didn't buy them so I didn't really have much of a choice.

I was considering getting another of one of the two tires to run a matching set, I just haven't really cared enough to do so.

Id stay away from park concrete with the mtt. My experience is bad with em. But they are supreme street killers. Best on pavement and they literally are flat proof if a thorn goes on the tread.

For such a large tire I was surprised by the MTT's flimsy sidewall but it's not a high pressure tire so that probably has a lot to do with it.

I was actually leaning towards a matching TWW as I figured it'd be a little bit better fit for me personally.

I had a pair of shadow undertakers that were great overall tires, a little slippery at the plaza but easy enough to predict and control. I don't think there are a lot of tires that are "good" on smooth crete though, especially if it's dusty, you always need to be on your toes no matter what tires you're riding.

I haven't made a trip to the plaza on these tires yet. In fact, this frame hasn't even been ridden yet because of the shitty weather and my work schedule.

Another thing I noticed is that I'm really not a huge fan of these Orbis rims. They're not as wide as a lot of rims and when you run a larger tire, the tire has a tendency to "roll over" on the rim a bit, hell even the 2.2 in the back does it. It doesn't come off but it's not nearly as stable as on a wider rim. That and the fact that really they're just not all that strong is why I'll be looking into another wheelset down the road.

Still around, replaced the stem, sprocket and chain with a stranger machine stem, 25t stranger pentagram guard sprocket and gold cult 510 chain. Don't really feel like taking pictures at the moment. Maybe sometime soon.

Brought this one back from the dead!

Thanks, it was a looker and that was about it. Kid that bought it wound up breaking the frame pretty quick and that was the end of that one.

I'm pretty sure the animal hub is still kicking ass though.
