This is my '02 (I think) Volume Dinosaur. I haven't ridden hardly at all in longer than I care to remember, but I'm getting back into it. I broke the freewheel a long time ago so I recently got it riding again.

All of these parts are the originals before they started doing everything light. She's got some weight to 'er.

Normally I run at least one peg that I haven't put on yet. It just came off of some cheapie bike one of my buddies had. But, yeah that's about it. It's a work in progress so I'm sure I'll be updating some things on it. Pedals, probably wheels if I get to it, maybe some lower profile brakes since I just switched from 44-16 hahaha

Thanks a lot, dudes! If you think that's unbreakable, you should've seen when it had the 415H chain on it with the old Kink 44T. I did throw a sprocket chunk from time to time then (without hurting anything!), but I figured I'd be better off saving the weight.

Also, I've been meaning to paint the cranks black for a while, so I'm probably gonna do that soon.

I love the way oldschool builds look for some reason, lookin good!

3/27/2014 10:06 AM

Thanks, you guys. I've been thinking, and the idea is going to be to combine a little of the new school lightness while at the same time keeping it a little heavy for stability and so it'll take some abuse.
Besides, I love a lot of these parts and it will be difficult to get rid of some of them.
