10" rise bars??

They look silly and seem very unpractical. Why do you want to jump straight to 10" with a topload instead of going for 8.75 or 9"?

Alright do you suggest I go for 9"?

It's up to you. I dont even ride bars over 7.75"

I was just asking why you wanted to go straight for 10. usually you work up to something like that haha. It's all personal preference.

I got more air on a bike with a 21" TT and 7.5" rise bars with a frontload then the present setup I have now with 21.25" tt 8.5" rise bars, and a frontload.

I liked the 8.5" rise with 20.5" TT. I'm debating on switching my bars out for something shorter and more racey type geometry (backsweep upsweep) It's all preference, but I don't think there's anything wrong with experiments. How are you going to know if you like it or not unless you try it.

Going from 8.5" to 10" sounds like a pretty drastic difference. I like changing things up in smaller increments unless I absolutely hate my present setup.

Why don't you like your bars now? Are they too short or are they WAAAAY TO SHORT.

im 6'4 and i ride BSD 10 inch bars, when i first got my bike i had 8.75 fly montana bars it came with and they were just too low for me as soon as i got 10 inch bars felt great. if youre a tall guy like me absolutely, 21"tt and top load stem. might grab a BSD passenger frame in 21.5 soon though depending how i like frame im currently on. sold my bars to a friend we went out riding i was like here try my new bars and hes laughing oh 10 inch bars blah blah no need to ride these hes the same height as me he hopped on my bike rode and was like i really dont want to like these bars but i love em and he hops back on his bike and says its like going from driving your truck to my little honda.

I'm 510 and I'd feel like a trendy jackoff if I went bigger then 8.5 , I ride 8.25 and there is no benefit to me going bigger ....15 years of riding I can tell you from experience the taller your bars go the shorter your bunnyhops get

It's all preference. I went 8.5,9,9.5,9, and now on 9.25 with a ton of upsweep. It's what I like just try a bunch out and see what suits you best.

try an in between size unless you are pretty tall. i'm 6' 5" and run a topload, max spacers, and 9.85" bars. I couldn't imagine going any taller. it's all personal preference but i would suggest a less drastic increase like 9.25"

I ride 20.2 TT with 8.25" rise. They feel small so thinking of going for a 9" or 8.75"
