Welp running 36/10 gearing is starting to kill my legs and i don't like that it feels like its putting excessive force on my driver and chain so time to bump up to a larger driver.

As far as i know the biggest driver that primo makes for it is 11t but that'll probably still be putting too much extra pressure on my set up so i want 12t. I had e-mailed tip plus about this and got no response.

My question is does anyone know of a 12t driver that'll fit my cult match hub?

I've heard that the profile mini drivers fit them but i was told only up to 11t, not sure if thats true or not so if anyone has any info on that or of a driver that'll work that would be awesome

Isn't 12t where cogs start? If it's like pedaling a mountain bike in first gear, why not go down instead of up to even it out?

I'm not sure actually, i always thought 12 was the biggest sized driver that was made (odyssey makes them i think). I don't think going to a smaller driver would be the best idea even know with 10t it feels like it wants to explode

36/11 should be perfect. But it'd probably be easier to drop to 30/10.

I dunno, never gone up past a 10t. It probably is putting more pressure on one spot just because of the angle that the chain is touching the driver, instead of being smaller and wrapping further around it while pedaling. But sure your driver bearing(s) aren't just blown? I thought a 25/27-9 or like 30-10 was nearly the same as the old school 44-16. And my bad, I forgot that you said you had a bigger sprocket, so it wouldn't be like a mtn bike. Lol. Should be alot easier for you to pedal now than it would be if you went up to a 12t

agreed, why don't you get a smaller sprocket?
cheaper than a new cog and you don't have to add length to your chain

Profile Mini/Totem drivers fit Primo Mix/Remix and Cult Match but not the other way around. Grab an 11t. Mind you, 1 driver tooth is about the equivalent of 3 sprocket teeth. It will make a big difference.

I dunno like the speed that comes with the 36t only problem is the acceleration to be honest, i think after i get a bigger driver it'll feel perfect or atleast the same as say 28/9 gearing.

I think the primo drivers are like 39.99 new so the price difference wouldn't be that much considering i'd probably end up having to go and buy a new sprocket

33/11 would equal 28/9.

Awesome i didn't know that one tooth would make such a difference, an 11t driver should be perfect then

33 Tooth sprocket. Genius. I don't get the comment about extra force on your setup.

You can grab a profile mini 4 pawl driver with the interchangeable cog which will allow you to run 12T and up, 11T and down will be a solid cog
