I would like to know what the majority of you guys ride: 14mm or 3/8" axle in the back? Why?

|

11/19/2011 3:51 PM

14 beacause even 14mm axles break 3/8ths axles would be dead in a day

3/8" axles bend or snap super easy. I've always ran a 14mm axle. The best would be a 20mm female axle *cough*G-Sport*cough*

14mm.
I would only run a 3/8th rear if I rode pegless park and trails

Uh, I've had a few 3/8" hubs. They've all bent within hours/days. When did I say I've never ridden a 3/8" axle?

If you're talking about 3/8" female, that's different. That's not bad. 3/8" male is terrible.

If a company made a frame with 3/8" axle slots how many of you guys would consider buying it? While using a profile female hub or similar?

I have and would ride a 3/8 rear. Never had an issue with it. Rode an Old Challenger, Holmes and DirtBike for quite a while with 3/8 hubs and never had any problems with it. Still have 3/8 for everything but my Eddie. I do prefer 14mm now that I have gotten older and put on some weight though

11/22/2011 3:11 PM

3/8S no pegs 14 if you use pegs but any axle can snap
