So I am gonna get some odyssey thunderbolt cranks. I am buying them on amazon because I sold some stuff and got amazon credit. There is a pair of thunderbolts that are 175 for $147 and a pair of 170's for $178. Should I save the $30 and get the 175's or go with the 170's. I'm asking because I've never tried 170's and don't even know if I'll feel any difference. I ride mainly street and ride 4 pegs. I also am riding 175's rn. Thanks

I don't think it will be enough of a difference for you to notice it that much. It's no different than having your foot in a slightly different position on your current cranks. Personally, I'd get the 175's and save some money

if your feet aren't hitting the pegs and you're not having problems with you crank size right now just save the money and get some new pedals with it

It's only $30. Just get exactly what you want the first time around so you don't regret it. I went from 175 to 170 and I'm happy I did. I noticed a difference, some people don't. It's pretty subtle. You'll be more satisfied with your decision if you get what you really want to get. You probably already ordered cranks, Just my two cents.

Yea I feel ya but I ended up getting the 175's for $130 which is $50 cheaper and I wasn't willing to pay that extra $50 for 5mm. But thanks for the feedback
