2 hip or specialized??

2hip is legit. I don't think they're very active anymore.

And also please someone enlighten me what the heck is a 2 piece crank is that just 1 bolt on 1 side of the crank because thats what im seeing on this 2 hip bike of mine instead of 3 pieces its 2 pieces??

Sweet 2 hip man. 2 piece cranks refer to one crank arm being fixed to the spindle and the other crank arm is independent and separate from the spindle. On a 3 piece, the spindle and crank arms are all separate with no crank arms fixed to the spindle.

I never rode a 2Hip, but one of the older guys that got me into riding rode a Playboi. It was actually really solid. I almost bought one because I liked it so much.

Yah its kinda funny how i even came by this bike lol was looking at used bmx bikes around my area on letgo app lol and had a old minibike that ran but needed alot of work so messaged the guy asking for a possible trade and he said yes lol went 30 min away to his house and traded i asked where he bought it at and he said coles im thinkin oh shit a box store bike well i know 2 hip isnt a boxstore bike so went home checked bike out and sure as shit the original bike shop sticker named coles was on the frame lol the bike is mint as well just put new oddyseys on it ill take some pics later this evening thanks guys for the help and replies

On the side note guys im so confused right now my phone is being shitty and sprint is making me do a total wipe to my phone i have to even create a new gmail so how the hell would i log into my profile again and how can i change my username im half tempted at this point to create a whole new profile but if i can change my user name and gmail id rather do it that way instead of completly starting over fml the reason im trying to change my username is i always use the same username as my gmail is so its easier for me to remeber since i have early onset memory loss lmao any help would be great thanks guys

Ok so far ive put new odi grips odyssey tires on it previous owner put premium sprocket and red kmc chain on other than that its all stock to my knowledge one thing thats driving me nuts is the crank arms are not parralell to each other there off by a hair its hard to actually even notice it and even if u knew about it u prob still would have trouble noticing it lol now i did pull the one arm since its a 2 piece crank and the spline itself was manufactured a little crooked lol the slots where the teeth from the crank arm go on go a little slanted i know its not bent but just drives me insane lol any thoughts will this be ok?? Any how back on topic looking at the specs on the bike its weird because it says its a 48 spline spindle when its only a 8 spline if im not correct the spindle 8 spline is molded a little crooked from what i can tell which is why my cranks arent parralell to each other so is this ok guys?i cant feel it when i ride but i just want a little imput on this to kinda assure me i guess lol thanks

So there are 8 big notches in the spindle when you take off the left crank arm?
