So what's up with these frames coming in 20.8 - 20.875 and what not, is it for the people who want longer than 20.75 but shorter than 21?

I honestly dont know how ANYONE would be able to tell .05" difference in their top tube. Its all marketing BS, makes a frames specs look slightly different in an over saturated market of frame after frame being the same thing with different colours.
I only buy frames in 20.49322587" tt. If they're not in stock I won't ride anything.

I only go 20.4932288 if it comes in trans neon yellow-green with black poka dots and a free pack yugi-o cars. maybe.

Makes literally NO difference. 20.75-20.875 is a super minimal increase in length. You'd feel better with more stack washers then buying a frame with .125 longer toptube.

My old loosefer was 20.666 haha but idk it seems like a bit of a marketing gimmick imo. Like being able to frame's tt length accurate to 1/1000th of an inch seems pretty impossible haha but what do I know

The frames that come in 20.875 also come in 20.625, 21.125 etc, and they don't come in 20.75 and 21, so there is still .25" difference between each one.
I wonder what the variance ratings on frames are, if there are variance ratings. I mean, is a 20.75 frame actually a 20.75 +/- .5 or something?
I don't ride a BMX bike to look cool to others, I do it because it's fun and never do I think "Boy I sure am cool on my BMX bike."

The word your looking for is tolerance. Any ways, yeah everything has tolerances, even in nuclear power.
I seek progression, not perfection.

Good question. There would have to be tolerances. But I think .05" would be more realistic, if it was as much as .5 then we may as well all ride the same alleged size.
haha I didn't think it was too much of a difference, but I'm seriously considering the fit mac frame in 20.875, 21 just feels like it's too much to pull up
