What would 25/8 gearing feel like with a 1.95 tire? 25/9 is a little too easy. anyone know how far back it moves the wheel or if you have to run a half link?

It'd be just a teeny bit further back than 25/9, I mean it is only one extra tooth. And as for the 1.95 tire along with 25/8 gearing, it is a bit faster and with the 1.95, you'll go pretty damn fast, just don't lowslide or you'll eat shit maybe, lol.

this. if you have some super expensive sprocket like a profile that is 65 see if a driver is cheaper then. go for the cheaper option

fuck im stupid lol the cost of ur current one wouldnt matter nvm
if you go higher on your sprocket you will go faster and have less stress on your chain.......im running 30 to 9 and loving it
I only will run 28/9 because i am a man and like to pedal hard and fast at everything and i need the speed. haha Im gonna probably go up to 30/9 if i feel man enough one of these days! haha

Be a man go 30-9.
8tooth drivers are renouned for blowing bearings and heaps of stress on the chain, plus they will wear down faster
I'm a punk bmxer, I can't do it well so I do it loud.
I guess I'll just stick with what i got. needing to buy a rear hub, just bought a new 25t, so was just seeing if 8t was an option. im just gonna learn to pedal like a ninja
