What really changes when you go from 25t to 28t? Advantages and disadvantages?

Faster top end, slightly slower acceleration.

Might need a bit more chain.

I ride 30/9, and I had to add 3 (maybe 4?) extra links. You have a higher top speed, but slightly slower acceleration. I like it wayyyyy better then 25/9.
