I'm looking to buy a 28t sprocket for extra cranking power however i really hate sprockets that look big and i have always thought 23t's look sick. Anybody know any 28t sprockets that are smaller if that is possible, Of course I know it wouldn't be as small as a 23t but maybe a 25t maybe.a friend suggested a Hoffman dinky sprocket. Any advice?

it's not possible.
if you have a sprocket the size of a 25t that has 28t, it wont give you extra power because its the same size, and your chain wouldn't fit. stop worrying about looks so much and just get a 28t

28 doesn't even look that big. When you start getting into 30's, thats when they get big. Who cares what it looks like. I know some people care about paint looks and stuff like that. But never the size of a sprocket.

I have a 30t sprocket on my bike and it doesn't even look big, so I imagine a 28 wouldn't look big.

same, 25's look too small after seeing 28s and 30s everywhere; in my opinion

I started on 25s, then 28s. Now im up to 30s and i personally like the look of a slightly larger sprocket.

trails are not skateparks, they exist solely from the work and dedication of local riders. so next time you start complaining about not having local trails to ride, you only need look at yourself.
