Considering the KMC 415H for my next chain. It says it is 3/16. Will this work on my 1/8 sprocket and driver?

3/16 is wider than 1/8. So if you mean will it fit, yes it will fit. 3/32 would be too small for a 1/8 tooth.

Yeah, side to side. I don't know if it would cause any more damage than a 1/8.

I've got one here and put it on a couple guard sprockets (Sunday Knox, MDS, Fit) and it looks like a really bad idea. Actually, it looks like a really bad idea on pretty much any modern sprocket.
I'm not sure if you realize how thick this chain actually is, it reminds me of something you would find on a garage door opener.
I used to actually run it back in the day with a Profile Blackjack sprocket and a 3/16" ACS Fat freewheel...
I attached a pic of it beside a 510 HX for comparison.

Nope sorry. We have a KMC 420 for some reason, which I actually believe is a motorcycle chain. I'm going to have to find out what the story is with that one haha.

I actually have one of those 415H chains still sitting in the box, after i realized how big it really was I was too afraid to fuck up my sprocket or driver so I haven't used it yet. I might actually try it out today on my tree OG sprocket just to see.
