I have an AHEADSET Headset and the topcap broke. I could buy another plastic topcap but I was thinking of going metal, so what metal topcaps fit threadless 1 1/8" AHEADSETS.

I think most caps are universal though I don't know if you can buy just the cap?

If it has a Hole in the middle for a Brake Cable and is undone using a Wrench it will use an M10 Topcap (Tree makes one). If it has no Hole and an Allen Key Insert then it will most likely be an M6 Thread. And it's only the little bit on the top that's Plastic, it doesn't really need any strength.

It is a top cap, not bad bearings. Not blowing 30 dollars on a headset

any top cap that has a hole in it should work.

your bike shop should have one as well.

Well he never said there was anything wrong with the Headset, did he? And if he bought a new Headset it wouldn't even have the part he needs.
