I've been looking for new shoes and I was just wondering if anyone who has ridden Adidas could tell me if they are any good

Adidas Seeeleys . So fucking sick . Wear out kinda fast compared to Vans but I loved mine . Low profile , the black on black was sex , and just the feel and look was great . Lewis and Sean run them a lot . I think I couple others do too but I forgot.

My Cult 2 Short
yep i ran a good looking pair for a year, they held up real good and had heaps of grip
You don't have to be great to start, but you have to start, to be great...
Ryan Nyquist rocked em for a long time.
I would imagine they aren't bad, assuming you have brakes. (Brakeless eats shoes)

Adidas is the first big company I ever heard of making a BMX specific shoe (black on black shell top with reinforced sole). I think they were Dave Mirra signature.

I've sold stuff to Ecuadevil, LLURider, and Mario.villegas90 with no complaints.

The bike stuff is bigger than their climbing stuff I think. More money, more stuff being sold.

Mountain bike trails, hiking, climbing?

Best thing about Adidas is their durability. Colors are fast and quality finish is same after several washes. I will buy both kinds of Top suggested by my friend. One is the stretchable spandex and other is loose polyester. These can be used accordingly. May be if we go for gym or jogging. But I need them for daily wear too.
Bumps an old thread, to talk about tank tops, when the entire thread is about shoes...
Why? Why? Why?

Sambas are total garbage. Legit took a HUGE chunk out of the sole of a brand new pair doing a footjam. They're nice and cheap, but narrow and don't last.
BMX over 30: Eat clean, Stretch, and Pray.
Just buy cheap Vans (not the pros, get the basic ones). They’re practically disposable after use and will hold up. They’re not the most durable but when they’re in their prime they ride really really good. Waaaaay better and less stressful than trying to find that one “buy it for life” shoe.

Yup. Why buy expensive shoes if I'm just gonna beat the hell out of em. I've been riding mine the entirety of last year with no problems and will keep going on em.

Dot rubber is not great for pins though. Unless you are doing downhill or something.

side note. GRASSHOPPER MOUSE EAT CZ SKORPION , also idk why companies havnt tried making pegs out of 4150 which most AR barrels are made from.

I love my cz skorpion...solid as hell.
I was thinking something similar with pedal pins. Making them out of tungsten carbide. Maybe they already but I go through a lit doing sprocket stalls and other stalls and grinds.
Edited Date/Time:
Tungsten carbide is extremely hard but also extremely brittle. Makes for great, long-lasting drill bits but fuck do they snap easily!
I can't imagine carbide pedal pins would last very long at all...

Idk I know they make drill bits from it but I have some tungsten carbide pins in my snow cleats and I walk all day for 12-14 hours and the pins look almost new. This is walking on roughly half dry concrete. I only wear them for the occasional icy patch since I am always looking down, organizing my mail.

Same.

They'd be fine until you hit them sideways off concrete, which you're already doing to the ones you have. They wouldn't bend like steel; they'd just snap.
