So the stem i have on my bike now just isn't doing it. Its the stock dk trail stem and everytime i land hard my bars move. So im thinking of getting a frontloader stem but i have a few questions. First how, what is the difference between a frontload and a normal one. Also what is the difference between a 45mm reach and a 53mm reach, which is the standard? Also any suggestions on which stem, i was thinking of getting the dk one just to stay with the same brand and its cheap. What do you guys use and how do you like it. Thanks in advance.

shadow attack stem. 50mm and its lite as F--k also not many ppl know or even think that on most stems if you flip it upside down you get a small amount of rise in bar hight, thus you might not need to run bigger bars.

ight first
front load s what i run i have a fly mosca 45mm runs kick ass
ive always had less problems with frontloaders really no different feel to either one

n the difference between 45 n 50 mm
i used to run 50 il never do that again shorter stems give u more room ur less likely to
slam ur knee into it n if ur into barspins or x ups or downs it gives u more room

so what size is better for park riding, i ride a lot of ramps qp's and such but i also am into street and love hopping down stairs and everything. I am a new rider so all i can really do is a 180 so what would be better for me the 43, 45, ,50, or 55. I think mine is a 40mm right now at least thats what the one on danscomp says it is, but it looks very big to me.
