Some dude earlier told my Odyssey sold the Midway design to Alienation. He said he thought it was the 7ups that used its design just out of a different material. Can I get a confirmation on any of this?

no clue but I looked both rims up & the insides are slightly different, not by much though

Alienation has been known to rip off other company's designs, namely Odyssey rims and Zodiac stems. Fuck Alienation.

Well my 7ups have held up 10x better than my Hazard Lites so I dont think thats entirely true.

Their (go figure) lower end rims such as the PBR & Black Sheep might not hold up well, but I know the Delinquents & Runaway rims are great rims. I know plenty of people who had/have them & beat the shit out of them

I like to call this a PBR Based opinion. If you haven't had a PBR or blacksheep i doubt you've had an alienation rim. They make great stuff at a higher level and even their low end stuff is good for the price.

To be honest, I wouldn't care if Alienation made the best parts in the industry. The fact that they've blatantly ripped off other companies and the fact that the dude that owns the company is probably the biggest tool bag in BMX makes me never want to even fucking see any of their parts.

Yeah... the Delinquent is worse than the blacksheep. Its like $30 lol. Pinned, double wall, 6061. Its not bad for the price but its a POS.

I never said that? If anything I got my 7ups on sale and like them more than any other rims. I thought the Delinquents were the shitty model of rim though? Like inbetween the PBR and the Blacksheep. $30 retail price. Or am I wrong?

The 2011 Redline Complex I bought for my wife (that she didn't like the feel if and sold) had a Blacksheep rear, but it was welded. And yes, I'm positive. Not sure what's up with that.

The Deliquents are normally $65. They are welded, 6061-T6 (like most rims), and double walled. They are everything everyone on this website says you should get when getting a complete or when getting new rims.

Yes but I didn't say "they suck because they are on sale". I thought they were a step up from the PBR and a step down from the black sheep. I looked it up and im wrong. They retail at $65 and are one of the higher quality rims. My bad.

most company's at some point or another cross in to other designs it's bound to happen..alienation has aimed at giving people a descent wheel option for cheap an that's respectable..but to be very honest the skylark is one if not the best rim i have ever ran

Mine lasted 2 years no issue. Wasn't the best rim, but it wasn't terrible. Stayed more true than the Primo Hula Hoop I had after.
