Sup Vital?

So I'm about 3 months into riding and am filming a Youtube channel of my progression. For my next video, I want to land a lot of tricks that are considered fundamental. Like a one hander.. which leads to seat grab.. which leads to toboggan. So far, I've done obvious bunny hop, one hander, no hander, nollie, bar turn and no footer for this video. What other tricks would you consider to be fundamental to learning before learning harder tricks?

My trick list that I can do so far is air out a qp, fakie, foot plant, double peg grind, double peg down hubba, feeble grind, disaster, short manuals, short nose manuals, pull up barspins... just to kind of give a skill level of what I should be aiming for as a fundamental.

What do you guys think is necessary to learn that leads to a harder trick down the line?

Whats your channel name?

For rotations:

- 180°, both flyout and on flat
- 360°, both flyout and on flat
- (harder) same but oppo

For stalls on quarters:

- Disaster
- Double pegs (without your foot touching the ground, that's cheating and ugly)
- Tailtap
- (harder) Footjam

For grinds:

- Double pegs
- Feeble
- Smith

General tricks:

- Barspin
- Tuck no hander
- (harder) Tailwhip

If you can do all of these, you're set to learn most combos/variants there is in BMX

Awesome list thank you! Some of those I feel there are tricks to learn before that, like one footer before a no footer before a can can before a tail whip lol, but I get what you mean that those will get you to pretty much all other tricks. Thanks!

Grinds:
double peg

crank arm
pedal and or sprocket

Air moves:

Combo these up and you will be a VERY solid rider.

But really just ride, and have fun, and things start to pop into your mind. It's all up to you.

Personally, I recommend safety gear working up to the bigger stuff.

I spend hours driving and riding around looking for spots. Sometimes when Im injured, I will spend an entire day writing down locations to return to and the basic tricks I think would be possible for me to do there. wink

Thanks for checking my vid out!
