Animal bikes warranty issues

So, about 2 weeks ago or so i email asking to see if i could get some BRAND NEW RS rims warrantied, (they look worse in person)

I left them wrapped, today I opened them and the welds on them are the
worst of any rims I have ever had, I don't know if its a defect or what,
but they haven't ever been ridden they still have the packaging that wraps
around on them."

Sorry to hear about the rims, those welds do look a bit shotty. At the moment we only have Blue rims left in stock though to replace them with. We can get you some new ones sent out with a call tag however first we need to start off with a receipt from where they came from."


I then send the shipment confirmation (couldn't find packing slip) with the order number and all on it, which i would assume they can confirm with Dans that i bought them or whatever they needed & i say "Not sure if this will work or not since I can't find the packing slip" expecting Yes, it will work. Or No, sorry we need the packing slip. Never gotten a response and called them twice without an answer and emailed warranty once again. What should i do next? Try to keep calling until i get an answer or email them or what? I've never had a problem with like this with warranty from any company before.

The Rims are brand new still have the cardboard things on them.

try and get in touch with an animal distro in your country thats what i did with my old freemix

^^^ this. my distro (canadian) is 1664, and any 1664 dealer will be able to help. bring all the packaging and all the paperwork you have. if you cant find the packing slip, make sure to print off a copy of your receipt. it is standard practice at any distribution, shop, or company not to do any kind of warrantee or refund without one or both pieces of paper.

also keep in mind these companies deal with thousands of orders, most of which are sales that provide profit. they have no reason to rush warrantees until they've made their sales quotas. so be patient.

Call during business hours, and ask for the warranty department. Or just give it a little time. When did you send the last email to them?

If you are in Canada I would get in touch with the shop or the distro company you got it through but contacting animal directly might not hurt I've heard Ralph sinisi is diehard as fuck for better quality for riders in bmx

Lol, i'm not one of those people who call and ask for something then call them a crap company or anything, thanks for the advice,its much appreciated.

I actually haven't gotten a response since the 15th, which is why i am kinda upset about it since its been 2 weeks since i got a response from them and i've made somewhat of an effort trying to contact them since and got nothing back.

Contacting Animal directly is what I did when I cracked my Sway bars, I forget who I got on the phone with but they were super chill and sorted my issue out within minutes on the phone.

Then again I also work at a shop so that could be something to do with it.





OP, just call them up. They have a number on there site somewhere, call them during reasonable hours and explain that you emailed them and never got a reply so you figured you'd give em a call in case they didn't get it for some reason. They could be out of office at the moment or just behind on things, stuff happens. Calling them will ensure you speak to someone and get it sorted out faster too.
