Long story short.. got laid out going for a feeble grind on a down ledge with some stairs..

Got up, rode right back and up nailed.. not once, not twice, BUT 3 additional times after that!!

However like an hour later, my a$$ is in some pain.. but ONLY when sitting.. excrutiating when I try to sit up...

No insurance so doctor is not an option.. plus EVERYBODY telling me whether its broken or bruised, they can't do jack about it...

So I am just curious if anybody been thru something like this and HOW LONG it took to recover?

The tail bone is an area with little blood flow, thus it will take a long time to heal. Broken or bruised, there isn't a whole lot a doctor can do. Ice it and wait it out.

This was the first handrail I ever did, the first fall where it looks like I land on my nuts was actually all tailbone, for the first few months sitting down or laying on my back was really painful. Once the pain subsided I could sit but not for long periods of time, if I sat for more than 20 minutes my tailbone just started to ache really bad, it took almost a year before that went away. either way if it is a tailbone injury there is nothing the doctor can do besides tell you if it's broken for sure

From that kind of height I'd take a punt it's just bruised, I broke mine from smacking my back on a ramp from like 10 foot up. Did that 2 years ago and still hurts now if I sit down on anything hard for too long

I chipped mine when I looped out a couple years ago, it was baaad. I actually didn't have insurance at the time either aha. Just be careful for a few days and see if it gets better. Trust me I feel your pain lol, that shit was NOT fun. But hey time heals all wounds I suppose.

Does anyone know if Hockey Pad's breezers would help prevent this type of injury?
