My brother has had a Proper BSH(Brick ShitHouse) v2 for the best part of 3 years, he goes pretty hard and it's held up very well for him. Assuming their quality hasn't changed since then, I'd definitely trust one.

Never ridden one myself, but they'll be as good as pretty much every other frame out there

This. They're just another cookie-cutter company for the most part.

That being said, we're at a point in the industry where most everyone is a cookie-cutter company. Majority of companies flip through the exact same catalog when designing/ordering their products. There's enough industry standards & quality control now that there's no harm done in doing so.

What mostly matters in the durability of a frame is the type of tubing and heat treatment that was used to make it. You can read all about different kinds of tubes & heat treatments right here.

Doesn’t Josh James (BQR123) run a Proper?

Yeah he rides for them

I heard their frames are made in Europe, so they're not quite the same as every other frame. There won't be much difference though. I can't be bothered to Google it to confirm.

Edit: I done a Google. Can't find anything anywhere saying they were made in Europe. But that makes sense as there's no factories in Europe that specialise in making aftermarket bmx frames (unless you get a very expensive custom build).
