Has anyone on here used kunstform.org or jrbicycles.com to buy a bike?

I'm after the United Supreme SU2 (blue/white) which kunstform sell for $699.95 and they apparently do free shipping worldwide on orders over $699. I'm just not sure if that includes complete bikes, as they are quite heavy.

The other site (J&R Cycles) sells the bike for $499.99 + $210 intl shipping which makes it $10 more expensive than kunstform.

I've never bought anything from either site before, and I would like to know which one has a better reputations. (I'm spending $700, so I don't want to get ripped off)

Have you looked on backbone, strictly, ride on, lux, hell on wheels or anchor? Shipping will be a heap lower shipping in oz. and support rider own Australian stores. Rhysty and Tyson are great guys at backbone

Where in Australia are you from might be able to walk in and pick it up save extra dosh

Jr is great. They're warehouse is like 30 minutes from my house. It also acts as a lbs which in my opinion is the best in the area where i live. Ive bought things there before. Great place.

I bought from J & R in the past and everything was fine. Shipping was fast too. But you shoul think about what Gunp said because shipping will be a ton cheaper if its not international.

I checked just about every Aussie online bmx shop I could find and everyone sells the bike I want (United KL40 Pro) for $1100-$1200

If I buy it from Winstanleys I can get it for $670 shipped. That's over $400 saved.

Thanks for the suggestions though. smile

Isn't winstanleys English. That will cost more than buying from the US. Our money is pretty crappy compared to the pound. Pretty even with the us though

Take this as a example on price differences

Uk winstanleys
Odyssey r25 forks £125.99 which is $199.22

Danscomp
Odyssey r25 forks $134.99 which is £85.37

Why is stuff so expensive here in uk sad

|

But winstansley has cheaper tires (animal glh for 26 euros) Cheap WTP stuff, like bars or frames. Cheap bars in general (65 euros animal four.) Nice prizes in front hubs, and some cheap rear hubs, like eclat flip flop for 125 euros. Overall, its a good online shop compared to spanish ones, of course, us shops are cheaper, but this is Europe....
