Okay so I run the Subrosa Bitchin BB and when I installed it a couple months ago it stuck out a bit on each side; I didn't think this was going to be a problem. Well, about a month or so ago it began moving from left to right to where it would stick out about half an inch on one side only, leaving a tight spot in my chain as well. I tried bangin it back in with a mallet but it would just do the same thing the next day. Please HELP! THANKS!

Do you have the spacer in? If no, put it the fuck in. If yes, tighten your cranks down

internal spacer could be a tad too long

that's what I was thinking as well but Idk where to find a shorter one cause most of the other BB kits all have the same size of spacer.

measure BB, then measure BB bearings butted up against the spacer, these numbers should be exact, if bearings and spacer are too long, file the spacer down, making sure keeping parallel.

Always use plenty of grease when installing bearings.

We do a similar thing at the shop but measure things a bit differently.

We install both bearings without the spacer, then usually need to use something like this(only shorter, like half an inch max) on both sides to butt up against the inner races because the frame's BB shell could overlap them slightly, then measure from each metal cylinder thing to the other, then subtract the width of both metal things & the bearings and it will give the exact measurement the spacer should be.

I've done this with mine and it fits so perfect.

OP if you could do something like that, that would yield the correct spacer size you should be using, then just file it down or use a hack saw (if you can keep it straight enough) if it's too long to just file, but be sure to file the rough edges off if you do that though.
